Corey Henderson Trujillo, DO
Internal Medicine Resident
Dr. Corey Henderson Trujillo was inspired to enter medicine after working with U.S. service personnel injured in the line of duty. As an internal medicine resident, Dr. Trujillo listens closely to patients and collaborates with them to improve their health. She has special interests in hospital medicine, pulmonary care, and critical care.
Dr. Trujillo earned a bachelor of arts in communications at San Diego State University in San Diego, California, and a bachelor of science in microbiology at California State University in Chico, California. From there, she completed a master of science in biomedical science at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. Her previous experience includes working as an emergency dispatcher, leading a hands-on science laboratory for K–6 students, volunteering with the American Red Cross, and caring for athletes competing in Ironman Boulder.
Dr. Trujillo is married to a high school teacher and is the mother of a little girl. The family loves going on hikes and enjoying the outdoors together.
