Infectious Disease Physician
Dr. Christopher Frohne knew from a young age that he wanted to spend his life helping people in need. His desire to make a difference, combined with a passion for science and health, made medicine a natural fit. As a physician, Dr. Frohne cares for each patient with compassion and empathy. He spends time with people, helping them fully understand their disease or illness so they can make informed decisions about treatments.
Dr. Frohne is honored to care for patients at every stage of health—from critically ill individuals admitted to the intensive care unit to those who are well thanks to life-saving medications for conditions such as HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis C.
Dr. Frohne earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry and a doctor of medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. From there, he completed an internal medicine internship and residency and an infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Chicago Department of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
In his free time, Dr. Frohne loves to run, swim, and bike. He is also an avid reader and is always looking for new books to enjoy. He is a devoted tennis fan and was thrilled to see Andre Agassi win the last match of his career.
