Christine Weinmeister, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
Christine Weinmeister is passionate about all aspects of women’s healthcare, but is particularly fervent about education. She strives to help all her patients feel informed and empowered in their healthcare decisions. She sees pregnancy and childbirth as an exciting, profound, and transformational experience in a woman’s life and feels fortunate to be a part of a family’s birth experience.
Christine graduated from the University of New Mexico nurse midwifery program and has practiced in the Pacific Northwest since 2005. She also holds a bachelor of arts in sociology from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She taught outdoor education in New England before entering the medical field.
While she was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Christine has a deep appreciation for the mountains, rivers, and scenic beauty of Washington and Oregon. She enjoys taking advantage of the hiking, skiing, and fly fishing that this area offers.
When not working, she can often be found playing bluegrass or old-time music at a number of different local venues, or traveling to music festivals and campouts. She lives with her partner John and their two dogs.
