Casey Cornelius, DO
Dr. Casey Cornelius cares for patients as if they were members of his family. His goal is to educate individuals about their condition and treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Cornelius treats the full spectrum of diseases in the knee, including sports-related injuries, ligament problems, and arthritis. He has a special interest in helping athletes and weekend warriors return to doing the activities they love. Dr. Cornelius has deep experience performing full and partial knee replacements. He uses robotic surgery techniques to speed recovery and maximize range of motion in the joint.
Dr. Cornelius earned a bachelor of science in biology at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He went on to receive a doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at POH Regional Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan.
Away from medicine, Dr. Cornelius enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. The family likes skiing together and traveling to warm, sunny locations. Dr. Cornelius is also an avid golfer.
