Bita Naji, MD
Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Bita Naji likes to think of herself and her patient as a team of equals working together to come up with a game plan for wellness. She believes that including people in the health decision-making process and encouraging questions helps them understand and buy into treatments.
Dr. Naji completed a fellowship in obstetrical care, but finds it rewarding to be able to meet the needs of people in all ages and stages of life, from newborns to grandparents, and pregnant women to transitioning individuals. She is fluent in Farsi and conversant in Spanish.
Dr. Naji graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles with a bachelor of science in biology. She earned a doctor of medicine from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. She went on to complete the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program. Prior to coming to Vancouver Clinic she performed liver transplant and hematology clinical research and worked as a primary care physician in California, Ohio, and Washington.
In her downtime, Dr. Naji enjoys traveling the world—Malaysia and Vietnam are two of her favorite spots. She’s also an adventurous eater, trying everything from fish with culinary foam at the Eiffel Tower Jules Verne to burritos from a gas station in the middle of New Mexico. She enjoys white-water rafting and scuba diving. She dislikes shopping so intensely that her husband, a fellow physician, picked out her wedding dress.
