Dr. Baron Uzochukwu develops personal connections with patients so that he understands their backgrounds, motivations, and medical details. His goal is to provide holistic care that serves his patients’ best interests.
Dr. Uzochukwu finds it rewarding to help heal people who are sick and educate them on how to protect their health in the future. He has a special interest in preventing hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Dr. Uzochukwu started his undergraduate and medical studies at Ebonyi State University College of Health Science in Nigeria and went on to earn his doctor of medicine at Windsor University School of Medicine, Saint Kitts and Nevis, in St. Kitts, West Indies. He completed a master of public health at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Away from medicine, Dr. Uzochukwu enjoys visiting local parks and playgrounds with his wife and three kids. He also likes to play soccer, read, eat Nigerian foods, and study the Bible. Already fluent in three languages, he is teaching himself Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. He has a heart for serving his community and spent more than four years volunteering as a primary care provider at a low-cost community health clinic in Corvallis, Oregon.
