Anita Demlow, MD
Urgent Care Physician
Dr. Anita Demlow enjoys being the first physician patients see when they are sick. She loves being able to discover the cause of their illness and come up with options that will help them feel better. Her goal is always for people to leave feeling like their concerns were addressed and that they have a clear path to recovery. She takes the time to educate patients about their conditions and empower them to make changes that will improve their health.
Dr. Demlow knew she wanted to be a physician since she was in grade school. She had a natural aptitude for science and teachers recognized and encouraged her talents. When she started college, she immediately chose a pre-med track, earning a bachelor of science in microbiology from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. She went on to earn a doctor of medicine from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland. From there she completed a residency in emergency medicine at OHSU, serving as chief resident her final year.
Dr. Demlow and her husband, a radiologist, have two children. The family enjoys hiking together, whether in the great backyard of the Pacific Northwest, in Yosemite National Park, or in the mountains of Italy and Greece. Dr. Demlow also likes to ski, snowshoe, make plant-based recipes, host friends and family, and spoil their Golden Retriever.
