Angela Liu, MD
Neurologist
Dr. Angela Liu understands that neurologic diseases are personal, affecting people’s identity and functional capacity. She focuses on listening closely to patients to understand their symptoms and daily lives. Her goal is to provide an empathetic experience and offer research-based treatments.
Dr. Liu treats general neurologic concerns in adult patients. She has a special interest in migraines, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. Because these diseases have good therapies, patients have the potential to improve significantly.
Dr. Liu earned a bachelor of arts in the history of science at Harvard University. She completed a doctor of medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went on to finish an internship in internal medicine and a residency in neurology at Barnes–Jewish Hospital, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Her volunteer experiences include guiding new citizens through the American citizenship process and tutoring and mentoring elementary students in an underserved community.
Away from medicine, Dr. Liu enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring the area’s wide variety of local restaurants, bars, and wineries. Her hobbies include reading, playing tennis, listening to classical music, and scuba diving.
