Andrew Rodriguez, PhD
Andrew Rodriguez specializes in caring for the mental health of children and teens. He believes that an individual’s physical, psychological, and social health are intertwined, and creates evidence-based treatment plans that acknowledge the whole person.
Andrew is honored to work with youths and their families at such a critical period in their lives. He truly considers children to be the future, and enjoys seeing how the right support can make a tremendous difference in their development and success. He strives to help every patient feel heard and cared for. He treats a wide range of mental health concerns but has a special interest in anxiety, depression, sleep-related problems, and chronic illness management.
Andrew earned a bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. He went on to complete the Education Specialist in School Psychology program at the same school and became a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. He earned a doctor of philosophy in school psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Away from medicine, Andrew enjoys an eclectic range of activities and hobbies. He likes hiking, camping, practicing archery, drawing, and painting. When it comes to reading and watching movies, he tends to pick stories from the science fiction and fantasy genres. He is a big proponent of balancing work with play.
