Allison K. Shuster, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Allison Shuster enjoys getting to know patients and watching their health improve. She focuses on educating individuals about their conditions, treatment options, and goals so that she can create personalized care plans.
She is particularly interested in pediatric allergic asthma. Helping kids improve their symptoms enables them to feel better, miss fewer school days, and just be kids again.
Allison’s mother, a nurse, inspired her to enter medicine. Growing up hearing her stories, and shadowing her colleagues during high school, gave Allison early and regular exposure to the medical field and a deep understanding of what it means to care for people. Allison earned a bachelor of science in health science and a master of physician assistant studies at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Away from medicine, Allison enjoys hiking and taking trips to the coast with her husband and dog. She also likes to bake, decorate sugar cookies, and read. Every summer, she volunteers as an onsite medical staff member at a sleepaway camp for children with allergies.
