Dr. Hinz graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a BA in Biology. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center.

Dr. Hinz is strongly committed to partnering with her patients in meeting their personal goals for health and helping to navigate the medical system. She desires that each patient feels they have a clear understanding of each medical decision and how it fits with their own values and motivations.

Away from work she enjoy spending time with her husband and 2 girls, running, and enjoying the great outdoors.
