Alexandria Yeo enjoys helping patients who are managing chronic conditions live active and healthy lives. As a nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology, she stays current on the latest recommendations and empowers her patients to take great care of their bodies.
Alexandria is an expert at caring for individuals with a variety of endocrine conditions but has a special interest in serving patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Because she believes that diabetic technology advancements can help patients manage their disease effectively, she watches innovations in continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and other equipment closely.
Alexandria earned a bachelor of arts in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to earn a bachelor of science in nursing, a master of science in nursing, and a doctor of nursing practice from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. While in school, Alexandria co-chaired the development and opening of Bridges Collaborative Care Clinic, the first interdisciplinary student-led clinic in Oregon.
Away from medicine, Alexandria enjoys exploring local plant shops, playing the guitar, and eating Asian food. She stays active by practicing yoga, lifting weights, and walking her dog.
