Dr. Alex Choy gets to know patients personally so that he can determine the best plan to improve their vision. Understanding an individual’s occupation, hobbies, and visual demands helps him offer treatment options that align with their lifestyle. As a provider, Dr. Choy manages a wide range of concerns, from routine eye care to advanced eye disease. He has a special interest in creating tailored solutions to relieve dry eye.

Dr. Choy earned a doctorate in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, and an undergraduate degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. He previously served as an adjunct professor at the Southern California College of Optometry and Western University College of Optometry.

Giving back to the community is something that is very important to Dr. Choy. He has dedicated time to multiple community health fairs, the Special Olympics in Chicago, and a mission trip to the Dominican Republic through the Lions Club.

Dr. Choy and his wife enjoy spending time with family and friends; exploring local trails, beaches, and mountains; and tasting all the unique food this area has to offer. Dr. Choy is also a loyal Trail Blazers fan and loves going to their games.
