Alaina Klene-Bowns, DO
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Alaina Klene-Bowns believes patients can achieve optimal health and well-being when their mind, body, and spirit are working together in harmony. As an osteopathic physician, she focuses on treating the whole person. Her goal is to empower patients to care for their bodies, prevent disease, and manage illnesses well. She loves to foster lifelong partnerships with patients and educate them on how to harness their bodies’ inherent healing capabilities.
Dr. Klene-Bowns has a special interest in using hands-on techniques—called osteopathic manual therapy (OMT)—to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries. Muscle or joint pain, asthma, sinus disorders, migraines, sports injuries, concussions, infant feeding issues, and pregnancy pain are among the conditions Dr. Klene-Bowns can address using OMT. She is also passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ patients.
Dr. Klene-Bowns earned a bachelor of science in kinesiology at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She completed a master of public health and doctor of osteopathy at Touro University in Vallejo, California. She is board certified in family medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Klene-Bowns and her wife enjoy hiking to Pacific Northwest waterfalls, exploring new restaurants, and listening to live music. Dr. Klene-Bowns also loves running, practicing yoga, trying new plant-based recipes, and brewing kombucha.
