The Vancouver Clinic (TVC), Clark County’s largest multi-specialty health care provider, today announced the addition of two key members to its executive leadership team. Paul Brown, former CFO of Zoom+, has joined TVC as Chief Financial Officer, and Rebecca Birenbaum fills the role of Chief Human Resources Officer.
According to CEO Mark Mantei, Brown and Birenbaum bring diverse professional experience to their respective positions that will help further TVC’s mission to provide the highest quality patient care in Southwest Washington.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Paul and Rebecca,” said Mantei. “Each of them possess invaluable experience in the region’s healthcare industry and will be essential to TVC’s continued growth as an organization.”
Paul is an accomplished senior financial executive, with 25 years of experience as a CFO at organizations inside and outside the healthcare industry. Most recently, Paul, a CPA, was CFO of ZOOM+, a Portland, OR early stage healthcare company focused on radically changing consumers’ healthcare experience in urgent and advanced care services. He was a key architect of their growth and expansion strategy. Prior to ZOOM+, Paul led the financial, IT, legal and administrative functions in several telecommunications and technology companies.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Rebecca is responsible for ensuring that TVC attracts and retains talented staff members and healthcare providers who share TVC’s commitment to delivering exceptional care for patients. Rebecca brings more than 15 years of human resources experience to her role. Most recently, she served as the Chief Compliance and Administrative Officer at Central City Concern, a non-profit organization providing primary care, mental health, and other services to people battling homelessness and addiction. At Central City Concern, she gained a thorough knowledge of healthcare organizations and the unique human resources challenges they face. Rebecca is also an attorney with an MBA in Human Resources Management.
