Vancouver Clinic ranked among the top primary care medical group performers for patient experience in the 2018 Washington Health Alliance patient experience survey. The report included 114 primary care medical groups and 351 clinics across the state of Washington.
“To be listed among the top 12 medical groups and clinics in the entire state for patient experience, and ranked better than all others in Southwest Washington, is a great
accomplishment,” said Chief Executive Officer Mark Mantei. “Our providers and staff put caring for people first, combining deep compassion with the newest advances in medicine. Their empathy truly shows.”
While the entire clinic ranked high, our Battle Ground location scored better than average in every category including: Timely Care; Provider Communication; Care Coordination; Helpful Office Staff and Overall Provider Rating.
“Our primary care providers and staff in Battle Ground do an outstanding job caring for patients,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr. Alfred Seekamp. “Patient experience is a core area of focus for us and we are pleased to see that we perform better than other clinics in the state.”
Vancouver Clinic as a whole exceeded Washington averages in all areas except Care Coordination, where the clinic met the state average. Care Coordination included questions about how often providers knew information about a patient’s medical history, talked to the patient about prescription medications and followed up with medical test results.
Only four medical groups in the state scored better than average in every category.
